As long as i have known,
i have thought i never belong.
as long as the memory goes,
i just thought that i was wrong.
as long as i could think,
i found the fault in me.
but now that i opened my eyes,
i see a different scenary.
people come and they go,
your life is for you to keep.
when others can never win,
why should you accept defeat.
for everything that you do,
critics will find your faults.
thanks to them darn critics,
i feel i never want to halt.
But sometimes i get sick,
all this constant agony.
as the pain intensifies,
with rage pumped into me
when paranoia starts playing games
dizziness keeps me company
when loneliness starts to creep
it gets me to my knees
when words are all the weapons,
and someone else owns a weaponry
when you fight a losing battle
life at the opponents mercy
but this is not all but real
this is not all what i see
in the darkness of the losing fight
i see a light glowing within me
the power of me, the power of one,
the power that i possess.
the power of greed, the power of pride,
the power of selfishness.
as i lust still more for power
my hunger, never satisfied
but as long as i have me,
happy till the day i die
i have thought i never belong.
as long as the memory goes,
i just thought that i was wrong.
as long as i could think,
i found the fault in me.
but now that i opened my eyes,
i see a different scenary.
